BIOGRAPHY

Richard moved to Australia in 2006 from London, where he had been based for the previous twelve years. During this time he spent several years shooting fashion before making the switch to interiors and homeware. Since then he has expanded into portraiture, still life and food photography.

Before leaving the UK, Richard shot for many leading interiors magazines including Living Etc, Elle Decoration, The Sunday Times Style magazine and The Guardian magazine.

Now firmly established in Sydney, he works for a wide selection of editorial and commercial clients, which takes him on shoots throughout Australia.

Richard has a wealth of experience working both on location and in the studio, so is equally comfortable shooting with natural or assisted light. His appreciation of subtle lighting combined with an eye for graphic composition and texture help bring a unique style to his work.

When not behind the camera, Richard can often be found in the kitchen or on the soccer field.
